Hi friends.
This week I was thinking about how sometimes it’s nice to not have to consider all the changes that are happening with my body and instead just sort of absorb them and move on with it. I mean there are definitely moments where the starkness of the changes sort of smacks me around a bit, but there’s also plenty of days when it’s just lovely to be this new version of myself, and anyway what can I do but just be me anyway?
And then I realized that there are even days where it seems like the physical changes that come with aging could possibly be strengths. Is it just me that feels that way?
For example, I have a senior relative who has watched her hearing disappear over the last decade.
